My thoughts-
I enjoy reading children’s Bible story books, so I can see what I think are the best books available for young children today.
Juliet David has written a variety of children’s Bible story books, which have all been very good. I especially liked how this book, 99 Stories from the Bible, would be very good for beginning readers. It had simple stories and plenty of illustrations to help break up the text.
I was glad to see so many different stories. I do not like reading Bible story books which have the typical subjects, like Jonah, Moses, and the birth of Jesus. This book will provide a good base for young readers before they receive their first Bible.
I would highly recommend 99 Stories from the Bible, by Juliet David and illustrated by Elina Ellis. It would be perfect for the young children in your life.
