About the Author-

Heather James is a newspaper columnist and attorney.

My thoughts-

There is a lot of evil in this world and it was showcased in Hands of Darkness, by Heather James.  I thought this was an interesting book with twists and turns I wasn't expecting.

Evelyn was a very strong character.  If I had been through everything she had been through and had a job with the San Diego police force with violent crimes, I don't think I could have made it.  She was a person who her family could be proud of.

I liked how the murderer had his/her own chapters.  It was interesting to read his/her thoughts.  James did such a good job that I had no idea who it was until the last chapter.

This book isn't for everyone.  Those who do not like murder and the evil that comes through them, should not read this book.  Everyone else will enjoy reading this book.
